They initially replied with an apologetic email but didn’t respond when I followed up about adding seasoning to a “Build Your Own” pasta. When I visited the store, they first said it wasn’t allowed.

After mentioning my email and that other locations permit it, the manager politely explained that while it’s generally not allowed and Domino’s hasn’t confirmed a policy, he would make an exception. He added that other employees might not do the same.

Dear Domino's Customer Service,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent order at your 159 Wellesley St E #101, Toronto, ON M4Y 0H5 on March 6, 2025, at 5:33 PM. My order number was #82/#10281, and I had ordered an individual Build-Your-Own Pasta with marinara sauce.

When placing my order, I specifically requested garlic powder and oregano to be added. Understanding that some locations may have restrictions, I even brought my own small box so the staff could provide the seasonings separately. However, they still refused, citing a company policy that prevents them from deviating from the recipe in any way.

This was frustrating because these are basic seasonings that Domino's has always provided upon request.

Additionally, why is it called Build Your Own Pasta when I am not allowed to choose how to season it?

I have never encountered this issue before, and it left me feeling unsatisfied with the service. If this is truly a company-wide policy, I would appreciate clarification. Otherwise, I hope this matter can be addressed to ensure a better experience for customers in the future.

You got rid of double toppings? What the *** is wrong with you?

I have ordered two large double topping pizzas from you every week for over 25 years. I got a song and dance when I tried to order them today. If you keep this stupid rule in place, you'll lose a ton of business. Ask yourself if it's going to be worth it in the long run.

So stupid!!!

Absolutely nothing was done for me

So we placed an order for delivery this evening! To establish this before we even made the order, I asked if they had any deals.

She then replied and said yes, $7.99 for a 12'. I proceeded to order not one but 2 pizzas. That's a great deal, right? WRONG!

Because we didn't just order the pizzas, but we also ordered cinnastix. And you'd think she could get the order correct. It took me at least 5 times repeating myself that I wanted the cinnastix well done and extra icing. Perhaps I should have taken the hint then!

But I carried out our order and chose to forget about it; that was until the delivery guy got here and charged us $49.12 for our order! A lot more than the $20 we thought we were paying! So of course, I called back and addressed this with that exact same person who took our order. She said she didn't say $7.99; she said $12.99.

Well, there's no hearing $7.99 and $12.99—two very different sounding amounts! I was trying to explain the price error when she hung the phone up on me—not twice, but three times! The fourth time, I requested to speak with her supervisor, and she hung up on me for the last time. So I'll call back tomorrow and speak to her boss hopefully and get a lot farther with them than I did with her.

Perhaps more effort into hiring staff could have prevented this, but I don't know, as this was an unfortunate event because I liked Domino's. But after tonight, I don't think I'll be ordering there ever again.

Poor service

They have delivered pizza to my home for over a year now. Called today to place an order and they said we dont deliver to your area anymore.

Asked for a manager and she rudely said, I am the manager. Can't speak to a real person at head office of course.

The amount of money my house has spent there is ridiculous then for them to say that. Just poor poor customer service zero stars for Belleville Ontario store.

We have been loyal customers for years. Tonight, we ordered two pizzas, but one had toppings that tasted uncooked.

We have not had this problem before. We immediately called the Domino's store, and, after much discussion, they told us they would give us a credit for the one pizza. They called us back later to say that they would not give us the credit, as we already had a credit. We are not sure what that credit is, with the exception that it was perhaps from a previous order which came with a free pizza that week.

In any case, they told us our option was to have another pizza delivered to us, but we would have to pay $5.00 for delivery. We told them that was unacceptable and we had already lost our appetite.

They said to talk to Domino's Canada, as there wasn't anything they could do. We were so angry we told them this was terrible customer service after all these years, and we would not use them again.

They only angry people should be them. You did not return the pizza and want a refund. You should at least pay for the second pizza that did not have uncooked toppings.

A credit from a previous order should have no bearing on a credit from a current order. You should have just offered to pick up the free pizza, to save yourself the $5. The problem is that you wanted free delivery and their delivery drivers probably said no way were they going to use their personal vehicles and gas they paid for, to deliver food for no tip.

Hands-down, the rudest Customer Service ever I called at 25 minutes till closing placed an order then got a phone call back with a man telling me he had put everything away and couldn’t cook any pizza

Twenty-five minutes till midnight, I placed an order. The woman took my order just moments after I hung up the phone.

A man called me and told me he had put everything away and could not fulfill my order. I said, 'I thought you didn't close till midnight. I can come and pick it up,' I offered. He said, 'No, I can't cook any pizzas.

Everything is put away.' I said, 'So you're closed?' He said, 'No, we're open till midnight.' He hung up on me three times in a row as I expressed my disgust with his customer service. This man should not be in charge of closing. I guess Papa John's should be open till midnight.

After all, they will deliver even ten minutes till closing or cook a pizza - we all know it doesn't take more than twelve minutes to cook a thin-crust veggie pizza. This man was absolutely, absurdly rude.

Staff Arrogance and attitude

In store experience. I ordered cheesy stuffed bread with Jalapeño only, and I dont eat pork, the person who took order confirmed and I also assured it.

But when a worker was making it, I saw her putting some meat thing, I again asked, and confirmed that it is Jalapeño and cheese only and he again said yes, I thought it may be some cheese or something. Then when I got the order, it was pork in it. And when I said I ordered only cheese and jalapenos the maker named Priyanshi said, we dont make something like cheese and jalapenos and tried to prove me wrong (though I have eaten that numerous times), she not even once said sorry, and magically the person who took my order wasnt there to confirm, the third guy said sorry and said we will make it again. I was highly pissed off and after some time I said I dont want it, and even then she hardly cared, although the store wasnt that busy.

Acting like a princess and giving attitude, come on, keep your princess crown at doorstep and then come to work. I will escalate this, and wont let it go on deaf ears.

I dont have bill for the ordering details but I can help with the timing and amount of the order from my card details below,

Taking a 1hour 20 min to deliver

This is the second straight time it took them an hour and 20 minutes to deliver a pizza. They gave me no credit, no nothing.

The driver said he was the only driver. This is bull.

Weekends are busy but come on. The Domino's pizza place is by Intercity Mall, Thunder Bay.
